No one is posting to replace Biden here. We are not even posting the argument for than side, even though there
are many Dems that are making that argument outside of this Forum.
When we make posts like this, OP, it makes it seem like that discussion is going on here at DU, but it is not.
When, you post things that ridicule Dems who think differently than you, they must feel hurt.
Keep in mind that posts that say things like, "they are trying to take our vote away", build up a huge resentment that will boil over in the possible case that Joe decides to hand things over to Harris.
That could be catastrophic to our chances.
I could give arguments to the statement of ""they are trying to take our vote away", but we are not supposed to debate that concept. So, if we just wouldn't post those things in first place, we wouldn't need posts like "what in the hell is all of this about replacing Biden? ", because then there wouldn't be talk about it. This is only being discussed from one point of view here.
If the time comes, we want to be open enough to have a thoughtful discussion about it. By posting things like this, constantly, people would feel like something has bee stolen from them and they have lost free elections. That would hurt turnout.
