blocking the regime from further dismantling our government! A vast and diverse coalition of unions, nonprofits, and governmental agencies are suing, by name, nearly everyone in Trumps cabinet and Musk. The list of plaintiffs goes on about a page, and the defendants goes on for another three pages. Its a relief to finally see organizations joining together to show how all the pieces fit. And it gives me hope when the court responds appropriately to the totality of destruction and norms.

(4,195 posts)My favorite part (FINALLY, someone who can do something about TSF is putting it into black and white):
"Plaintiffs are a coalition of labor organizations, non-profit groups, and local governments that file this complaint to hold unlawful and stop the unconstitutional dismantling of the federal government by the President of the United States on a scale unprecedented in this countrys history and in clear excess of his authority"
I will be following this case closely.

(29,551 posts)The ruling is 115 pages. I thought I read on BlueSky that the regime has two weeks to file a response which can be no longer than 25 pages. But I cant find it in the ruling (because legalese makes my eyes glaze over), and Ill never find it again over there. And maybe Im thinking of a different case among the ~230 cases against them, but I dont think so.
