The jet is a bribe. And its a direct violation of the United States Constitution IF it is to be transferred to a presidential library, as reported.
If it remains property of the US Government after he leaves office, then its no different than the Resolute Desk.
As reported, its impeachable.

'Memba this? He doesn't own this hotel any more. But 6 or 7 years ago he raked in big money from the Arabs (and others) when they booked entire blocks of over-priced rooms at his former DC hotel.
In his first term it took thousands of dollars to buy him. Now in his 2nd term, the price has gone up considerably.

(13,184 posts)I don't think that on their worst days the Founding Fathers could imagine a man as corrupt and evil as Donald J. Trump. We say, "Only Hitler can do Hitler." One day the saying will be, "Only Trump can do Trump."
His cult already says, "That's just Trump being Trump." During a roundtable event President Obama said, "Can you imagine if I had done even half the stuff he's done?"

If it was a Democrat accepting it there would be no end to the Hell raised & foaming of the MAGAt's mouths & impeachment would be kicked in & enforced quicker then you could say Hunter Biden's laptop. Fox News would go 24/7 ballistic.
But you won't hear a peep out of anybody over this.

(5,141 posts)dumb, albeit lavish, plane he used? The AF-1 at Reagan's library had an authentic history:
"The Air Force One Pavilion, located inside of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, is truly a monument to history. The Pavilion, which houses the formerly operational Air Force One aircraft, was used by every president from 1973-2001 this list includes presidents Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush Sr., Clinton, and George W. Bush."
