The woman in Worcester,MA who was arrested -had law enforcement refuse to show a warrant, telling her neighbors "we don't have to show you anything."
That is blatantly illegal, and if done under any sort of executive authority such as the AEA, must be challenged. This also comes after the revelation of Mahmoud Khalil allegedly having been arrested without any type of warrant at all.
Anybody know what actions have been taken to prevent these things from continuing to happen, or st least to get a court order to prevent future warrantless arrests?
It's strange to have to ask or to think its even needed (it shouldn't be). But if the admin is trying to act under these broad executive orders, it almost seems like the entire order needs to be invalidated by a federal court for this to stop completely.

(19,261 posts)Some have been decided, ruling there has been no invasion to justify these detentions and deportations, but AFAIK, these rulings only apply to the federal district/state they were made in.
