Actually, I'm fine with sending money to people to buy an ACA policy. My guess is that it wouldn't actually go

directly to people, it would go to an "authorized" insurance company on behalf of ACA covered individuals. Not much different from what we have now.

Would be better to just scrap everything and cover everyone, but chances of that are close to nil nowadays.
