Primarly Connecticut DU followers, but anyone who has followed the case of Kimberly Sullivan:

I have followed the gut wrenching case of Kimberly Sullivan, who kept her stepson held captive and starving for 20 + years. He weighted only 68 Lbs when rescued by fire fighters in February 2025.

She was supposed to be back in court today, 12/19/25, but I cannot find any information.

There are so many things I don't understand about this case of sickening cruelty:

* Why have the two steps sisters who lived in the house at some point not been charged? A boyfriend also knew. (I am hoping they will testify against Sullivan.)

* Why hell was she not held in jail awaiting trial and was given an ankle monitor of which she whined was uncomfortable?

*Why has a trial still not been set?

If anyone knows what happened in court today, I would appreciate any information.
