Latest Gallup Poll: Trump minus 23 overall: Minus 43 with Indies

A devastating new poll showed no improvement in President Donald Trump’s approval ratings, which remained at the lowest point they’ve been in his second term so far.

A just-released Gallup Poll showed Trump was 23 points underwater with only 36% of participants viewing him favorably. That’s just slightly above Trump’s personal low from January 2021 when approval sunk to 34% following the attack on the U.S. Capitol.

With all-important Independent voters, the poll showed Trump underwater by a whopping 43 points.

5. I Think 35 Is The Floor

30% have joined the cult. Facts don't matter; it's always somebody else's fault.
Another 5% care only about lower taxes. In any election, a candidate that says "taxes are too high" gets their vote.
So I think he's barely above the floor.
My prediction is that it will never fall below 30, and unlikely to fall below 34%.
I'll be happy to be wrong, but I'm confident I won't be.

I always said he wouldn't fall below 33%. That's just based on the number that always vote for right winged projects, and especially those projects that do great harm to people. It seems there are about 33% of the people of the US that are psychopaths, and they will always vote for a kindred soul.

Complain loudly about his lies. About grocery prices. About health care insurance prices caused by Republicans.About all the time he spends starting wars and appeasing dictators instead of serving the America public. Every loud complaint helps. Republicans must be held accountable for their actions. The Epstein Files that he spends more time and energy trying to cover up than he does helping anyone in the US? Mention it loudly while complaining he did not end the Russian War on Ukraine on Day 1. He did not improve my financial status. His tariffs have not improved, but destroyed the economy.

seems to be in the vegetables section of my local grocery store. It seems like, whether I go in or with hubby, I can't help but seeing something wherein I say... quite out loud... thank DJ trump. It's all his doing! Today I had a nice clean white SUV pull up beside me with a trump bumper sticker. It was all I could do keep myself IN my car and not get out, beat on that bumper, and then go to the driver's window and let them know exactly WHY I just did that. I figured I'd get thrown into jail real fast... so I literally bit my tongue and sat on my hands until the light turned green. Needless to say, I've really had it with not enough action to pursue DT and prosecute him.

is getting more angry and impatient. That anger is going to make the mid-terms a nightmare for Republicans.

"Strongly Disapprove" is now hitting 50% vs 21% who "Strongly Approve". I think those numbers matter more because this is what gets people to the polls. I also think that while his overall approval rating may not drop much more, if any, the number moving to strong disapproval will grow and the strongly approve will decline.

My biggest fear is that they are looking for a "9/11" solution, but if there's one thing we've learned - this Cabinet is completely dominated by incompetent imbeciles. The ONLY thing they are good at is flattering Trump.

Because the person can be at 10% or 35%. It’s a very big difference.

I think we can expect a floor of about 34% approval though since that what he had right after the January 6th riot he instigated.

Those people could have the man himself pull up to their house, kick them out, seize all of their bank accounts and possessions, and auction their children off to the highest bidder on their former lawn, and they would still want to buy a hat from him before walking away and saying what a decisive leader he is.
