Internet Sleuths Reveal Hack to Undo Epstein File Redactions

The redactions fueled speculation that the president, whom Epstein has called his closest friend, is covering up his own name or shielding others who appear in the documents.

“The Epstein files on the DOJ website allow you to highlight the redacted text, copy it, and paste it into another document, which reveals what was hidden,” one X user wrote.”You can also press Ctrl+F and search for ‘Trump ’ (with a space) to see his name appear more than 600 times.”

It’s not clear how many documents can be unmasked by the editing trick. However, one newly naked document shed light on a civil case against Darren K. Indyke and Richard D. Kahn, two executors of Epstein’s estate. According to The Guardian, a redacted portion reads: “Between September 2015 and June 2019, Indyke signed (FAC) for over $400,000 made payable to young female models and actresses, including a former Russian model who received over $380,000 through monthly payments of $8,333 made over a period of more than three and a half years until the middle of 2019.”

Indyke has never faced criminal charges and was hired by the Parlatore Law Group in 2022—prior to the DOJ settling the Epstein case—which represents Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

They can't even be competent criminals.

A decent redaction software replaces content with box characters. However, if you just use something like Microsoft Word, the only changes that are made involve changing the style of the background behind characters so that they appear black on black, something that can be easily gotten around.

to be revealed. We knew it was coming. I don't know how much of this is incompetence, and how much of it could be deliberate actions by some of the FBI agents who were charged with making the redactions. I can't help but think these agents saw the Trumpsters' stupidity and incompetence, and used it rat-fuck them. "You told us to redact it. You didn't tell us HOW to redact it."

Is that the rich assholes are going to see that it gets REALLY FUCKING EXPENSIVE to have sex with minors, and perhaps decide against it. We known they're often sociopaths, but they DO usually care a lot about their money

Perhaps the victims brave actions could also help the average sex trafficking victim, who might be living locked into the back room of a massage parlor in Southeast Asia, with no passport to go home. Maybe some of them will be getting US$380,000 mailed to them someday, out of the pocket of rich pervs and their corrupt banks!

I'm just saying, yes, real justice would be optimal, obviously, but there's still a chance of some positive outcomes out of all this even if nobody ends up in jail where they belong

If some of those white entitled shits spent 10-20 years in the same conditions that most of the US sex-offender prison population spends (not including G. Maxwell), that would send a very powerful message.

Epstein got a sweet-heart deal from the Florida AG (and later trump cabinet member) so his punishment was a very loose home detention. No message sent.

Like the military brass being dragged from their various commands and forced to listen to rants and raves from shithead and Whisky Pete, career DoJ, FBI, etc., are people who've accomplished much in their lives and careers. Things of real substance.

Perhaps they're not particularly happy being "led" by the likes of AG Barbie and "Jeebs" Patel. Political hacks who've never accomplished a damn thing except kiss Trumps ass. Maybe this is an act of rebellion against morons who should never, ever be in a position to tell such accomplished people what to do. If it were me, I'd be more than tempted. I'd do it.
