Bruce Springsteen has earned with his talent and hard work while never forgetting where he came from. Honest, compassionate and generous are ideals foreign to TSF

prob after statements at concert in UK last May

https://ultimateclassicrock.com/bruce-springsteen-treasonous-trump-2025-tour-launch/

“It’s great to be in Manchester and back in the UK. Welcome to the Land of Hope and Dreams Tour,” the Boss declared upon taking the stage. “The mighty E Street Band is here tonight to call upon the righteous power of art, of music, of rock and roll in dangerous times. In my home, the America I love, the America I’ve written about, that has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration. Tonight, we ask all who believe in democracy and the best of our American experience to rise with us, raise your voices against authoritarianism and let freedom ring.”

I mean for anything he's done since about the late 80's, that I've heard on the radio...
of course his classics still get played on oldies and classic rock radio stations,
but I don't think I've heard any of his new songs on the radio since the late 1980's.

I hope this song breaks through big, as it seems to be doing!!

Lest we forget, he also took a musical stand against W. Bush's IRAQ War,
a song I thought should have gotten more airplay---
echoing John Kerry's words about the Vietnam war,
'who wants to be the last to die for a mistake?'

For me, I try to find some glimmers everyday.
Some days it feels impossible.
