I thought the country had come around to realizing the GOP was a shit show after Bush. Obama won in a landslide and we overwhelmingly controlled both chambers of Congress and over half the Governors. It looked like we were going to enter another golden age. 2 straight GOP presidency’s had ended in recession certainly the country was done with this shit. And then the RW billionaire machine kicked into hyperdrive and the propaganda flowed into the streets like an open sewer. 2 years later the American people gave the keys back because we had the audacity to give people health care.

arrest. The second was that Catherine O'Hara had died. The post-op pain is hurting less than this world is delivering. And I'm in a fucking metric ton of physical pain right now. Those 3 hours in the OR were my best of 2026.
