4. Wonder how Melanomia is reacting to the great reviews. Or is she isolated? Or just doesn't give a f.

Is the fact that IMDB is owned by Amazon related to the fact that (at least as of now) there are zero ratings or reviews of this thing on Imdb?

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt35291758

Maybe it's too new, but I would have expected something by now

Edit to add: now a few hours later and it has 30 reviews and a 1.0 rating. I guess it was just frozen for a while

Edit (again) to add: So the positive reviews looked like AI to me. So I asked Google Gemini:

How many of the favorable reviews at https://www.imdb.com/title/tt35291758/reviews/?ref_=tt_ururv_sm appear to be AI or the same person posting over and over again under different accounts?

And it helpfully replied (with details omitted here for brevity):

Of the current favorable reviews (ratings of 8–10), approximately 40–50% exhibit characteristics of being "dubious," meaning they are either likely AI-generated, part of a "review bombing" campaign (in reverse), or posted by the same entity using multiple accounts.

I had a cousin who was once married to a woman named Malicia. No idea how is was actually spelled, but it was like malicious. Over the years I've had some fun thinking up some alternatives (she was basically horrible, but then he was no catch himself), and every time I see Melania, I start playing around with all the nicknames again.
