It's okay to have repeated articles/topics in GD. Some sink

And then someone swoops in and says, "Dupe!", without ever even kicking the original post! Leave your "Dupe", especially if it has more responses than the original, that might not have been seen because of time or whatever.

GD can have multiple articles on same news, unlike Breaking News.

I appreciate all folks posting news, even if it's a repeat, because I work and caregive for my sister. I often miss the original post! Thanks!!

like when I get an astounding (for me) 92 rec's on a post and someone comes along and duplicates it.

I check a bit, not extensively, before posting, including the home page, which does not honor my extensive trash and block lists.

How do I ask for kicks? Thusly.

PLEASE KEEP THIS POST KICKED.

I enjoy the occasional computer graphic.
Slows me down to make one up and post it, but adds to the pleasure.

Not just look for dupes, and not give you also credit for original post.
I am super busy these days. I try to go back and rec original posts, but don't always do. I apologize and appreciate, all ya'll do!

right on the opening page of GD... I didn't go through them all to see how many were the same article--
but it's always a good idea to take a look before posting something like that...

I admit I single out dupes. I get tired of seeing five or six postings of the same article on page one of GD. I always look before I post anything.

repeats of a post before running here to post the same thing - seems pretty easy.
