Sane-Washing

Alayna Treene, CNN White House Correspondent, does a lot of "interpreting" in her reporting of what tRump and his minions are doing. She might be doing it to help make sense of her reporting; so she doesn't sound like an idiot when reporting their mish mash of shit. Alayna will say things like: what he's thinking is..., what he's trying to accomplish is..., he's just confirmed..., what he's established is..., etc. etc.

And as I mindlessly listen to her babble on, I'm realizing she's making him sound sane and coherent. That what she is saying does make some sort of sense, but tRump sounds INSANE. This is a scary form of sane-washing in the form of legitimate CNN news reporting. And Alayna Treene is on every morning with Wolf Blitzer, so she gets a lot of air time.

1. Generally I Ignore Trump's Statements

for 2 reasons. First it usually infuriates me, which I swear is the only purpose of him getting out there in front of cameras and mics; to piss us off. Second, I fear exposing myself to his discussions will reduce my IQ a few notches.

Based on way reporters are covering Trump, I'd say the stupid seems to be rubbing off. Trying to interpret what this man says only proves how foolish you are.
