Indiana Vote Proves Nothing

Indiana, unlike many other states, has closed primaries. Only Republicans can vote in the primary. Independents are not allowed.

With Republicans approving Trump at 85% and Independents approving Trump at 25%, and 0only 15,000 voters participating in all 7 primaries, it proves nothing. It was a "fishbowl" primary that might as well have been held at Mar-a-Lago.

I worked the polls yesterday and voters can select either a Republican or Democratic ballot. It’s not uncommon for voters to switch parties from one election to another.

I'm always amazed when people (including my spouse just yesterday) said she couldn't vote in the primary because she wasn't registered to a party (and there were no issues on the ballot). No such thing as party registration in Ohio (and apparently Indiana is the same). Just pick the party ballot you want to vote when you sign in at the desk.
