Even David Koch donated to Nova and PBS and wanted to do everything trump is now doing to the American people.
trump was a Democrat before he was a Republicant.

The next governor of California must be a Democrat.
For us, that person is former Rep. Katie Porter.
The majority of our board believes that Porter has the intellect, the understanding of the issues, the ability to communicate, see the big picture, and the boldness to fight the monied interests who need to be fought. She has the singular ability to uplift Californians struggling with how expensive and exclusive this state has become.

13. Becerra's a vote for nothing changing

Which is why every lobbying power in Sacramento has become very keen on him since Swalwell's implosion.

I'm just not going to vote for that.

California has to be able to do better than this. A state as blue as this should not be satisfied with the status quo when the status quo is so increasingly difficult for working families.

I really wish we had better choices here. It just feels like we're about to get four years of more of the same. And people who don't live here and know our state solely through Newsom's Twitter account interns think more of the same will be fine.

14. He"s got my vote

I don't believe there is a more progressive candidate on the ballot than Tom Steyer.

"Experienced" politicians are experienced at taking big money from donors and then
jumping when they say jump.

I understand the argument against billionaires running for office but most of those other candidates
are running because they want to become billionaires themselves.

If we never elected wealthy people to office we would never have had FDR who, in my opinion was
the greatest president in history.

I would suggest that you look to see who is funding the candidates and you will see who is pulling their strings. I think Steyer is funding his own campaign so no one is putting words in his mouth and it shows.

I was going to wait to see who the top Democrat was in the polling before I voted but I have decided to vote for the candidate I think would fight hardest for Californians and their environment and against the fuckup that is in the White House instead.

I want a progressive Governor and Tom Steyer has my vote.

I was raised by a Single Mother.
First hand experience in their hardships,
their decision making.
What's best for all.
She's got my vote.
Corporate PACs: She has historically avoided corporate PAC contributions, a pledge that her campaign confirmed includes her leadership PAC, "Truth to Power".
Industry Support: While rejecting corporate PAC money, her top donor industries in past federal races have included Education, Retirees, and Democratic/Liberal organizations.
