3. PVC/CPVC should NEVER be used for compressed air service.

In fact, there are laws concerning this. I’ve dealt with idiots that plumbed their entire shop with it only to learn that it all had to be taken down. OSHA would shut them down immediately. Extremely dangerous and can cause serious injury or death.

If he was cranking it up it would be concerning. I have put over a 100 psi into a soda bottle great fun shooting them with a pellet rifle a 100 feet away.

It is not worth the risk. As Sister Donna used to say, a word to the wise is sufficient. 100 psi in a soda bottle is insane.
