A new poll shows Democrats have maintained a 10-point advantage over GOP congressional candidates.Emerson College released survey results on Thursday that found Democrats have 50.3 percent support from likely voters while Republicans have 39.5 percent support.

Actually, the lead is 10.8%, which rounds to 11. And the nearly 10% undecided will break 2 to 1 for the Dems, IMHO, as election day approaches. There will be a "Blue Wave".

but they are more often correct. Hillary actually won the popular vote and the poll was off by 2 points.
Truman was a major polling error, but I think polling has been much more accurate over the past 80 years.
What buttresses these polling numbers is that the Democrats have overperformed in every race in the country in the past 18 months. Those are actual voters casting actual ballots and the overperformance from the 2024 presidential election is averaging more than plus 12 points, right in line with the linked poll.
In any event, I'd rather be ahead than behind.
