13. Great toons, BUT is proofreading a dying concept in cartoons these days?

Today's "SUPRISE, SUPRISE"
and yesterday's "Manson"

Doesn't look anything like "Charles Manson" if that's the Manson you are referring to, he always had a beard.
What's this proofreading you speak of?

15. If you look carefully, you will see Jared is talking about

the "Manson" he would build on the property. Thus, the reference to Chares.

18. You can't "build" people, you can build a "mansion" though.

Cartoonist simply had a spelling error, much like you accidentally omitted the " L " in Charles.
So those without spelling errors may cast the first stone. Way I speed read, I kept missing it.
