Did the U.S. Park Police arrest “antifa operatives” for dumping algae into the Reflecting Pool on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.?
No, that’s not true: The story originated on a Facebook page known for posting satirical content that carries the disclaimer, “Nothing on this page is real,” and the image accompanying the claim is stamped with the same warning. In addition, Lead Stories found no matching reports from any credible news outlets.
The fake story originated in a June 16, 2026, post on the America’s Last Line Of Defense (ALLOD) page , which is run by Christopher Blair, a self-described liberal who has a documented history of publishing satirical or fabricated content.
According to a post that surfaced on X, the FBI agents have reported the discovery of multiple boxes of algae seeds at Antifa headquarters. The post was accompanied by an image of the seeds along with the watermark of CBS News.
The post has garnered strong reactions from online users who are blaming Antifa and leftists for the algae blooms and peeling blue paint of the pool, stalling President Donald Trump’s ambitious plan to renovate the iconic pool.
There are no official announcements or statements from the FBI that support the claim of discovering algae seeds. Moreover, Antifa is not a registered organization with active membership; hence, the mention of its headquarters is baseless.

At 69, 9th grade Biology is a long time ago, but I am proud that I remembered there's no such thing as algae seeds. 
And species that produce something seed-like (cysts or akinetes), are not the kind growing in that pool. The kind growing in the pool reproduce by mitosis, and they are basically ubiquitous. Provide the proper conditions for their growth (and the reflecting pool is a nearly-perfect one), they pretty much just grow there and reproduce till the resources are depleted, or the conditions become non-favorable for their lives. One thing they need? Fairly warm water. Clowny McDollhands had them apply paint that makes the water warm enough for the species to thrive. The problem is 100% ON HIM and his fucking "pool guy", who's likely familiar with, you know, pools. Not freaking 'waterways' like the reflecting pool basically is.
The cultists are REALLY showing their cult feathers on this one. Their entire persona is wrapped up in Trump being a god-like, infallible creature

The FBI raided a storage unit directly tied to Antifa and hit the jackpot: multiple strains of weaponized algae, specialized peptides designed to eat away paint and coatings, and a professional ultrasonic grow lab to mass-produce this toxic shit.
They weren’t done after the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
According to the evidence, these domestic terrorists had already mapped out attacks on 46 more pools and fountains across Washington D.C.
They were planning to turn the entire National Mall and surrounding areas into a toxic green nightmare.
This was never a “protest.” This was a coordinated chemical attack on America’s most sacred monuments, and they had the lab equipment, the recipes, and the manpower to keep going.
Kash Patel and the FBI just took a massive chunk out of their operation.
