I’ve usually agreed with her on issues and I’m not fond of labels but I am in her corner with her remarks tonight. Timely as there’s a thread about mainstream and progressive ideology going on with Democratic Party politics.

of the new members who will be sworn in from the NYC delegation.

She felt like she got the cold shoulder when she came to Congress, and doesn't want them to feel as unwelcome as she did.

Although she didn't mention Nancy Pelosi by name, I think I could tell who she blames for how she was made to feel.

Even Chuck Todd is now saying that neither Schumer nor Jeffries could win a primary if it were held today. So maybe it would be smart for them to stop attacking the progressives who are winning and actually learn something from them.

Maybe they still don't realize it, but Schumer and Jeffries need AOC and Mamdani a lot more than the other way around.
