Judge Sullivan made a decision and Blanche is refusing to comply. Isn’t that contempt of court? Why does he get another chance to bullshit and delay? Enough already!

5. Exactly WTF is a judge supposed to do to enforce his order?

Judges do not have active duty, reserve, or Guard troops, don’t have ICE or FBI agents or anyone else that they can send to arrest Blanche and seize documents.

So, I ask again: Exactly WTF does the judge do? Issue a sternly worded order! Hold Blanche in contempt? BFD.

Our system depends 100% on people respecting law, juries, judges, and the like. If you simply show ur middle finger to the law, then what?

6. A judge can issue a contempt or arrest warrant. It can be executed by US Marshalls, local sherrifs or other officers.

Despite what some of the posts seem to assume, Judge Sullivan's order directed Blanche to "either produce to the public the emails...
with sender and recipient names unredacted, or show cause why the redactions should not be removed." Blanche chose the second option and now Judge Sullivan is giving Phang an opportunity to respond to Blanche's "show cause" filing and then, per ordinary procedure, Blanche will have an opportunity to reply to Phang.

Blanche chose the second option and filed a response to the order to show cause and now Judge Sullivan is giving Phang the opportunity to respond to Blanche's argument and the, per normal court proceeding, Blanche will get to reply to Phang's response.
