The obituary is out... sort of

LOL. Apparently, The Hill had an obit all ready to go—with DO NOT USE at the top—but someone posted it anyway.

I love this. Sorry, Congress, you’re going to have to ‘fess up now!

The Hill accidentally released an article titled "A lookback at Mitch McConnell's time in the Senate," a piece clearly prepared to run after the Kentucky senator's death. The article was even prefaced with an all-caps warning to editors reading "DO NOT USE," but it went live anyway and was screenshotted and posted to X before the outlet could pull it down.

McConnell, 84, has been hospitalized for weeks after he was reportedly found unconscious and unresponsive in his home, given CPR for cardiac arrest, and rushed away by an advanced emergency support team. Since then, the public has been given almost nothing. A few anonymous sources insist he is "recovering," while far-right influencer Laura Loomer, who has close ties to the White House, claimed without evidence that he is "officially brain dead." No credible source has corroborated that claim.

What Americans are left with is a sitting United States senator whose actual condition is a closely guarded secret, a Washington press corps with his memoriam locked and loaded, and a Republican Party that refuses to level with the public about who is actually capable of doing the job.

They write these and keep them available for when they are needed when it gets obvious that it will be.

Queen Elizabeth, Senate Majority Leader at 80 years old, etc.

Ford was older than Kennedy. He was the same age as Nixon!

Reminds me, I better hit the gym. I think Ford was our most athletic president.

Crap. Here's an old campaign sign of his from 1948.

The guy was old, I didn't know it....

A man is dead but nobody can be notified because ..? What? The Senate won't have the votes for stuff trump wants? Maybe trump should have thought of that before he primaried his own incumbents. Or is it Elaine Chao has lost her usefulness to the Chinese w/o Mitch on the Senate? Or some other political crap?

News orgs keep pre-written obits for use all the time. But the point is that this was not supposed to be published but they did it anyway. Now why would that happen? Someone obviously didn't like being told to hold it when they knew the truth.

I will never forgive this corrupt prick for what he has done to our political system. The lying. The cheating. And his smirky little attitude, like his shit didn't stink.

One incident really sticks out with me. The incident with Obama, Garland and McConnell. What a low life he was.

with incompetent know-nothing hate-fueled ideologues, resurrecting Trump from the “dead” after January 6, and gifting the billionaire donor class with a nauseatingly obscene tax cut, has been morally ethically dead for decades..so the obit stands…

In college I once turned in a paper with "add quote here" because when I was writing that section I didn't have Internet and couldn't remember a specific quote. Fortunately from the context the professor knew the quote and gave me credit anyway.

... so many have focused on the accidental posting of the obit. Obviously, they would have them ready to fly for eagerky-anticipated and overdue deaths.

My point was that or HAPPENED, and now the cabal HAS to address the story they've been trying to ignore. It's a sign the whole farce of this "presidency" is unraveling.

Shitler's brain must be buzzing with paranoia. The guy who slept through the July 5th bombing of DC was up shitposting 67 times to reassure himself that he's an important guy, fer crissakes...
