Student workers at Dartmouth strike over pay, conditions

HANOVER, N.H. (WCAX) - Student workers at Dartmouth College went on strike Monday over pay and working conditions.
The Student Worker Collective represents about 300 dining workers and residential advisers.
They are demanding a pay raise to $23 an hour, protections from job automation and a clear policy that would prevent ICE agents from entering college buildings without a warrant. It comes amid the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration.
Organizers say the strike is about more than just their jobs.

This is the first known instance of this language being requested in a union contract. That makes this important enough for LBN.
