HANOVER, N.H. (WCAX) - Student workers at Dartmouth College went on strike Monday over pay and working conditions.
The Student Worker Collective represents about 300 dining workers and residential advisers.
They are demanding a pay raise to $23 an hour, protections from job automation and a clear policy that would prevent ICE agents from entering college buildings without a warrant. It comes amid the Trump administrations crackdown on illegal immigration.
Organizers say the strike is about more than just their jobs.
