Top DOGE officials are already fleeing as Musk leaves government

Source: Yahoo! News/The Independent

Thu, May 29, 2025 at 8:10 PM EDT

Top officials at the Department of Government Efficiency are set to leave their roles following the departure of DOGE head Elon Musk. Three officials – adviser Steve Davis, adviser and spokesperson Katie Miller, and attorney James Burnham – are leaving the administration, a White House official told The Hill.

Davis served in a leadership role at DOGE and has worked with Musk at several of his companies, including the Boring Company, SpaceX, and X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

Serving as DOGE’s “chief operating officer,” Davis spoke to Fox News in March, calling the work an “inspiring mission” that was “worth doing.” Davis also appeared at a briefing alongside Musk at the White House with a small group of reporters, when Musk spoke about DOGE’s work and its future.

Miller is the wife of Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller and was also part of the first Trump administration. She was named to the DOGE advisory board in December. Burnham was DOGE’s general counsel. He’s also the president and founder of Vallecity Capital LLC and earlier served as a Supreme Court clerk for Justice Neil Gorsuch.

Musk and his cyber-punks' work is done. Russia has access to all our government agencies and Democrats are celebrating.

No wonder we lose. No one pushed what happened at the NLRB when 15 minutes after the cyber-punks left, Russians tried to gain access to the NLRB using the correct user names and passwords. That means that Musk gave Russia that access.

How long was NLRB Gate in the news? 2 or 3 days? Democrats let it go away.

Yay, Musk never cut 3 trillion dollars, but he and Krasnov fired all of the honest workers and replaced them with Magats.

Yay, Democrats are winning, Musk is moving to a different office.

They don't grasp that government is not a for-profit enterprise. Oh, they understand that government is a source of income for them, but refuse to see the connections between well functioning society where people's needs are addressed and the profitability of the marketplace is possible because of THE PEOPLE.

The high rollers with the fat egos think they are the reason for success. They fail to acknowledge the workers' and consumers' as the root of all profits. Too many think government spending on anything that isn't their project is waste.

That of course is, eventually, a self-defeating prospect, though

to come anywhere near the number King Puspocket had pulled out of his big, fat ass. They failed to find it because it wasn't there, most of it enriches guys like Musk.

They're jumping off that particular ship before it sinks under the weight of warrants, injunctions and lawsuits because most of their big dollar cuts were things they eliminated illegally, like USAID and VOA, among so many others.

Musk will skate away on his remaining billions, one hopes to a very discreet clinic somewhere in Europe to clean up and dry out for a year or so.
