Pro-Trump Nationalist Wins Poland's Presidential Election

Source: Bloomberg

A nationalist candidate backed by Donald Trump won Poland’s presidential election, defeating the centrist mayor of Warsaw in a blow to the country’s pro-European Union government.

Karol Nawrocki, a conservative historian and former boxer, won 50.9%, while Rafal Trzaskowski took 49.1%, according to Bloomberg News calculations based on data from 100% of precincts reported by the electoral commission.

In months of campaigning, the nationalist managed to close what had been a formidable lead by Trzaskowski in polls. The ballot is likely to determine whether one of the EU’s fastest-growing economies and one of NATO’s biggest defense spenders remains a reliable partner within the 27-member bloc, which is under mounting pressure from Trump’s tariffs and Russia’s threat to the east.

The narrow margin laid bare the polarization that’s gripped the nation of 37 million, with issues such as migration, abortion and European integration sharply dividing voters. Nawrocki dismissed an early exit poll that showed Trzaskowski in the lead.

Her book describes the situation in Poland very well (up to a few years ago). She lives in Poland.

I wouldn't be surprised if Team Putin, with help from Eloon, had filled Poland with misinformation and outright lies leading up to the election, just as they did here.

Liberals still control Poland's parliament. Nawrocki will veto everything PM Tusk tries to do, just like the guy before him, but he can't claim supreme executive power.

15. Tusk should have ran for President
Mon Jun 2, 2025, 11:50 AM

Prime Minister Tusk would have won easily.

Tusk's party ran a European Council on Foreign Relations pro-American Empire globalist neo-liberal stooge. There are two enemies to Europe - the do nothing CFR stooges and their Rhodes Scholar neo-liberals that promote weakness of Europe. Where was Jake Sullivan telling Europe to rearm to defend Europe and get nuclear weapons. Nowhere. The other is more dangerous - the pro-Trump or pro-Putin parties of Europe. The first are covert enemies of Europe - pro-wealthy Macron is an example. They are better than the overt enemies of Europe - the Trumpers and Putinites.

The Ukrainians hated Jacob Sullivan, a Rhodes Scholar crony, there to manage Europe for the American Empire. To keep Europe as junior partner and never equal to the US. The neo-liberals are for keeping down the potential of Europe and against fully defending Ukraine to have Ukraine crush the Russians. And the neo-nazi Trumpers and Putinites are for turning European politics into the party of Trump or Putin. So there was no real option for the Poles to rally around when you have obvious American agents of neo-liberalism and managing Poland to keep Poland down and not having Europe rival American power and dominance.

There are articles in the Kyiv Post against Sullivan saying how Sullivan was responsible for blocking key military aid to Ukraine that would have helped turn the tide of war in favor of the Ukrainians. This got shifted by shills to blame Germany for not "releasing the Leopards". It was Sullivan's plan to not cause the "catastrophic" loss to Putin which could have resulted in losing the Presidency of Russia. In the CFR/Rhodes Scholar/Sullivan's view it would be "chaos" if Putin was overthrown, and that's "bad". These did not want the break up of Russia and the defeat of Russia. And gave only enough to prevent the loss of the entirety of Ukraine to Russian occupation. So Sullivan won the war for the Sullivan agenda. To them "if America is the ruler of the globe and Ukraine loses territory, then no biggie, America is still ruling. Sucks to be Ukrainians, hahaha". These are ivory tower self-centered gentry.

If you are against the American Empire and for the American Democracy and American Republic, then you have to be against the mercantilistic and imperialistic America First of destroying rivals and foes, and to Trump the terms "rival and foe" includes a Free Europe. Then you have to also oppose those that don't want Europe to be equal to America and instead want only a Europe that is "junior partner" to the Anglo-American dominance of the globe. Putin is working for Trump to keep down Europe, so then MAGA America dominates with Putin's Russia. The two American options are the return to American Greatness of Empire and Imperialism (take Greenland, Panama Canal...). vs Continued Anglo-American dominance with Europe as junior partner dependent on Washington. Both of these are bad options. Trump is way worse, though you are going to lose tens of millions of supporters in Europe if Trump offers fake nationalism to Europe with bitcoin, big tech bros... if what you are offering in opposition to Trump is more of the same failed policies of neo-liberalism. Neo-liberalism let Ukraine down. Neo-liberalism gave you the Budapest Memorandum. Neo-liberals are the reason why Ukraine did not have nuclear weapons to prevent war. Why isn't the Budapest Memorandum talked about by neo-liberals. Because neo-liberal CFR and Rhodes Scholars do not care about Ukraine as the public cares about Ukraine. The elites care about the Anglo-Americans managing Ukraine for the Anglo-American Empire. Talking about the Budapest Memorandum means you care about Ukraine and expose the failures of Anglo-American dominance. That Ukraine and Europe should have had nukes to stand up to Russia. With a nuclear missile defense "shield" and nuclear weapons, Europe could get uppity and start acting equal to Washington, and things get out of control for Washington, that is bad for Anglo-American dominance that Sullivan serves. Read the racism of Cecil Rhodes to know the agenda of the cigar smoke filled room Anglo-Americans. So Trump is trying to take over the national conservatives of Europe to make European nationalism into a brand of Putin or Trump. Which is no different than company towns. Are company towns freedom for the workers? No, national conservatism in Europe controlled by Washington Imperialists is the opposite of freedom.

I have been opposed to Anglo-American dominance for 20 years since Bush. Republicans are imperialist. The Democrats for for imperialism-lite continuing Anglo-American dominance by putting a Walmart smiley corporate face with LGBTQ and Soros as a way to make foreigners happy while the American Empire is deliberately keeping them down via Wall Street, political threats and other means.

Trzaskowski is a CFR member and the conservative nationalist traditionalist Poles rejected that con on Poland twice. Maybe next election Tusk's Party is going to run Trzaskowski again for the third presidential run of Trzaskowski.

To let you know, globalist neo-liberal Macron was pen pals with Putin before the war. Macron is an elitist globalist to manage Europe for the wealthy and American Wall Street. Way better than Le Pen and the nazis, though when Putin is threatening you, you need Europe, including Germany, to have first a massive nuclear missile defense "shield" with ECM from Russia's extensive EW capabilities and then nuclear weapons for Poland, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the rest of Europe. America needs to be replaced as the global leader by an adamantly strong Europe, unbreakable. Having Washington neo-liberal CFR pawns to keep the old neo-liberal system going of Poland as junior partner and weak to be dependent on Washington was destroyed by Trump in 2017 and Putin in 2022. It is why Ursula von der Leyen is adapting Europe.

The Poles are very traditionalist, they have their two main parties a center-right and a conservative nationalist party. I am actually far more traditionalist, so I know how to message to Poles. The Poles are wrong about abortion though. The only real government is the government of the family, the other governments are man-made fictions. If a fiction can wage wars and execute the innocent, then the real government of the family can allow parents to commit abortion. No significant ancient societies until the Romans banned abortion if both parents wanted this. Romans were the first to do general taxation of the public too. Rome was very authoritarian. I am a George Carlin Libertarian, except on the extreme traditionalist side. The government should only be there to help people, otherwise there should be no government. I don't care about the culture issues because these are used to divide and manipulate. The US is ruled by the billionaire elite, have been since there were billionaires, before that it was controlled by the millionaire elites. I don't recognize the authority of a government controlled by the criminal class. Such an organization is mafia rule. Trump, the mobster.

Before the Russian large scale invasion of Ukraine, Poles rejected Trzaskowski, after the invasion, Trzaskowski is more dangerous. The Law and Justice Party of Poland is more dangerous too. I like European leaders that want to replace Trump/Washington and Putin/Russia role in Europe. Europe has the potential to be stronger than the US, if it has strong vision and determination. Those require good leadership. Ursula von der Leyen is nearly perfect for the role.

Europe needs genuine politicians that care about Europe and the European people before Putin and Trump destroy Europe in one way or another.

The rise of Karol Nawrocki in Poland is a reminder of how far-right, Trump-style nationalism is still a real threat around the world. When leaders push division and rewrite history to fit their agenda, democracy suffers. We’ve seen this playbook before, and it’s up to us—at home and abroad—to push back with facts, justice, and policies that bring people together instead of tearing them apart.
