Democratic digital ad firm launches new service aimed at better reaching likely primary voters online

Democratic digital advertising firm DSPolitical is launching a new service on Monday aimed at better reaching likely primary voters online as the party looks for different ways to target its base ahead of a consequential November election.

DSPolitical, which shared its plans first with The Hill, is launching a new “precise digital ad targeting” tool that allows Democratic campaigns to target likely voters better ahead of their primaries, which will be driven by a 2026 Democratic Primary Vote Propensity model created by Democratic data firm Catalist.

“In 2026, Democrats need to use every tool in the party’s toolbox to take back Congress, but to make it to November, they must first win their primaries,” DSPolitical CEO Mark Jablonowski said in a statement. “Turnout is through the roof, making Democratic primaries more competitive and less predictable, so campaigns need better ways to understand who is actually going to show up and vote,” he said.

Catalist’s model will rank the likelihood that a registered voter casts a Democratic primary ballot this year, with a 0-100 scale, according to the firm, “designed specifically to reflect the dynamics of primary contests, where participation patterns can vary significantly across states and election cycles.”

Democrats need to focus on social media. We should be doing all we can to support influencers on the left. He doesn't win in 2024 without the help of right-wing podcasters and social media stars.

And get our big donor funded politicans to avoid the things that sound like publicity stunts. Promising to cancel student loans or offer a grant for first time homebuyers are good policy but we need to better focus on issues that a majority of voters would benefit from. We need to run against the BS that the GOP have run wild with after 44 years of cutting taxes on the wealthy it is clear that policy doesn't "create jobs". Putting money in more people's pockets is what creats jobs. Also the wealthy and rich have a harder time spending any extra money. They often can wait, and often just shuffle it around their own circle buying used luxury products like fine art and extra proterties.
