Trump links Abraham Accords to any Iran deal

Source: Reuters

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday that he has asked countries including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan and Turkey ‌to join the Abraham Accords en masse to normalize relations with Israel as he tries to negotiate an agreement to end the war with Iran.

Trump said he spoke on Saturday to leaders of those countries, as well as the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, which have already signed the accords, a set of agreements to normalize relations with Israel.

"I am mandatorily requesting that all Countries immediately sign the Abraham Accords, and that, if Iran signs its Agreement with me, as President of the United States of America, it would be an Honor to have them also be part of this unparalleled World Coalition," Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.

He cited "all the work done by the United States to try and pull this very complex puzzle together."

"Mandatorily requesting"? LOL. And he obviously thinks this "unparalleled World Coalition" will get him the Nobel Peace Prize he's so desperate for.

Not surprisingly, neither Israel nor the other countries have responded to the latest fantasy from Delusional Donald.

What that tells me is that he is caving to Satanyahu's pressure to keep the war going. Surrprised? Not.

My thinking is he’s desperate to come up with a Reagan type “miracle” just around election time and then proclaim himself as some kind of genius for the Peace Prize and another term as president. I hope it’s my nightmare and nothing more

the chances of a Independent Palestinian State and should also include a halt to Israeli annexation of the West Bank and include a plan that addresses the rebuilding and governance of Gaza.

I think this should be a foundational aspect of the Abraham Accords - without this there will be continued conflict.

They told the crown prince that Israel would halt its annexation of the West Bank (it hasn't).

Other Arab countries would be crazy to sign onto it after that.

He doesn't care if there's a peace deal or not. As long as he can game the oil markets to make money, he'll do it.
