Billionaire Leon Black, the former CEO of Apollo and associate of Jeffrey Epstein, was fiercely condemned Friday after fleeing an interview with members of the House Oversight Committee.
Leon Black had a chance to do the right thing and help us bring justice to the survivors. Instead, he ran out of the room when he was pressed for information about his non-disclosure agreements with women and his relationship with survivors of Jeffrey Epstein, said Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA), the ranking member of the committee, in a statement released Friday.
He has now been subpoenaed and must provide real answers to the Committee. He will be held accountable if he doesnt comply with our investigation.
Black was long a client of Epsteins, paying him around $170 million for what he claimed to be financial services and advice. Black has been accused of sexual abuse by several women, but has denied any wrongdoing. Black has also been close friends with President Donald Trump for decades.

Given Black also has the proverbial "fuck you" money, I suspect Congress has heard all they're going to hear from that scumbag. I'm uncertain whether Black is a literal child molester (certainly possible), but there's not much question he's displayed predatory sexual behavior towards young women, repeatedly, and Epstein ran cover for him by disguising Black's payouts to them to keep them quiet
Of all the people "linked" to Epstein, I am the MOST positive about the literal, direct involvement of (thankfully DEAD) Jean Luc Brunel, closely followed by Leon Black, in Epstein's pattern of abuse of women and girls.

since hes pardoned of those crimes he cant incriminate himself.
he could though be charged with perjury if he lies.

(4,217 posts)I just mean he's unlikely to appear before them again, because despite Garcia's "torching" and subpoenas, he probably isn't going to feel like he ACTUALLY has to, at least not as long as his good buddy Donnie is running an utterly corrupt DoJ
I hope I'm wrong and the fucker is held accountable, but I have my doubts. He probably already told Donnie what he was planning wrt the appearance, and got his blessing to tell Congress to get bent if he feels like it.

HE learned mostly everything from these Hitler followers. Everyone here KNOWS what we had to do with those fuckers! The same type of procedures need to be followed, whenever possible!
