May your day be blessed with opportunities to be thankful for the gifts we've been given along with the recognition that we have been spared our worst fears coming to fruition.
Stormy nights will quite often lead to exquisitely beautiful mornings. Have a soul feeding day.

(2,254 posts)Things if had to try and learn is to trust my miracles to happen. Specifically, so many procedures in the hospital and the fears that I brought with me conflicted with trusting a process that allowed for a smooth experience. I.e. trusting a phlebotomist to draw my blood with minimal pain even though they'd already done it several times before.
I know that's a severe oversimplification but I have to learn to really trust experts in their expertise.
May your faith and ability to trust assist you during your challenges.

Mother Nature always works at full tilt, and with no hint or desire for recompense.
We humans fall short, and fail to lead when leadership is needed. So, if you want the dark lining to those lovely clouds, look here:

We need to take a 2 by 4 to the heads of the party, reminding them of those who left the comfort zone and fought for justice.
It's whether we and they draw inspiration from dappled and exquisite nature and a dream of what can and should be, or a lengthy perusal of the "Book of This is How We Always Did It"
Choose Inspiration. And action.
I woke up, hastily threw on some shoes and a winter jacket and got that sunrise.
In photography, you get off your ass and get the picture.
It doesn't come to you, unless you like that AI-generated nonsense.
In life, you get off your ass and fight for justice.

(2,254 posts)What a beautiful photo that perfectly exemplifies my post and then you added such an eloquent, inspired call to action that should stand as it's own post.
Brilliant!
I am going to my first County Dems meeting Monday.
