The struggle for sleep cuddles. My golden retriever boy is in bed snuggles deficit.

I find humor yet once again I’m reminded in how fortunate we are to have our pups.
Reason for the downturn in bed cuddles is shoulder surgery i have been sleeping in recliner. Went to sleep around 22:00 and around 02:45 Dunc was climbing into recliner from the foot rest skin of squeak lamb hanging out of his mouth. As to say father we sleep together why are you sleeping in the chair.
I said to Dunc hold on my furry boy and i got up and moved to the couch.
And he stretched out next to me his head on my lap giving off moans of satisfaction.
Dogs love us more than they love themselves so pure and sweet such innocence.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope you’re not in pain. Do what your PT tells you to get that motion and function back!

And yes, these pups give us so much love and bring such joy to our lives. Glad you two have each other!

I've never had a dog attached to me like Nollie. (She's my seventh.) I can't wiggle a finger without getting her attention. She's also the boss. And she knows it. But she will do tricks and follow commands for cheese. Tiny, tiny bits of cheese send her over the moon. Gouda is her favorite. She saved me from despair. I love her so much.

I hope you have a full recovery from your shoulder surgery, Dunc. Be sure to do what your physical therapists tell you. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
