Who is starting early seedlings? I was shocked, I tell you shocked when I went into the plant area of Walmart that

they not only had seeds but organic ones. The nice checker lady brought that to my attention. I think she also was shocked.

Like Wednesday, when I was at the local grocery store, well north of the 45th parallel, they had the seed rack and fully stocked in the produce dept.

Yeah, surprised me too.

Late February to mid March is our regular seed starting time …depends on the long range forecast. Ground has gotta warm up before planting. We grow most of our peppers in the greenhouse so it gives us a little more time in the beginning.
Seeds at Walmart are rated for this year. With more people starting gardens seeds sell out quickly especially the more popular plants.
