What things did you do that todays children would not be allowed to do?

(113,495 posts)playing in the puddles and skipping along the sidewalks. We would walk quite a way to the drug store and the church we attended "bible school" and then home. No way would one do that today--even in that same small town, adjacent as it is to a much larger city.

I have some partners/attorneys in my office who send a firm wide email to sell cookies I prefer having my daughters go in person to make the sales

(3,141 posts)I carried a cardboard container which held probably 12 boxes of assorted cookies. It had a handle on it for easy carrying for a little 8-9 year old. It was so many years ago I cannot remember how many different varieties I carried.
