It is great to have such a thoughtful comment as yours after I'd decided that no-one would comment.

I was trying to capture the shining drops but it proved to be difficult. Next time I'll try a different lens, perhaps my 100-400mm.

It sure does rain in Southern California! If my photos had turned out better, you'd have been able to see the raindrops I was trying to catch!

We've had several days of an atmospheric river; more than 2 inches have fallen in our location.

I'm looking forward to drier days, frankly.
