Hubbard (D) wins primary runoff for PSC election; carries Hall Co.

Peter Hubbard was victorious in Tuesday’s Democratic Primary runoff for a seat on the state Public Service Commission (PSC). And he carried Hall County, as well.

Statewide, Hubbard garnered 58.18% of the vote (66,084) to Keisha Shawn Waites’ 41.82% (47,501)

In Hall County, Hubbard picked up 80.04% of the vote (409). Waites got 19.96% (102).

Hubbard will now face Republican incumbent Fitz Johnson Nov. 4.
