State of Michigan releases almost 2k pages of election training material
LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The State of Michigan released nearly 2,000 pages of election training material to the public Friday.
It comes after the Michigan State House Committee on Oversight authorized a subpoena for the release.
House Republicans claim the Secretary of State’s Office was making it too difficult to obtain the information. They want to know how 15 noncitizens were able to vote in the 2024 election. Of those, 13 were referred to the Attorney General’s office for charges.
Materials released Friday include training newsletters, clerk training manuals and an election-day manual.
