They were charged with approving a $2 million payment to an Indian government official in exchange for helping get a construction permit. This is a violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
The prosecutor who dropped the charges is ----- wait for it ----- Yup. You're right. ALINA HABBA. Trump's attorney in the N.Y.C. election fraud case.
