Netflix founder, health care CEO among latest corporate titans spending on Cuomo's mayoral run

The co-founder of Netflix and the chief executive of New York’s largest health care provider are among the latest business titans to pour money into a super PAC boosting Andrew Cuomo’s run for mayor, fresh filings show.

The filings, disclosed Tuesday, show Reed Hastings, the billionaire co-founder and chairman of Netflix, gave $250,000 to the pro-Cuomo PAC, Fix the City, on May 22. His donation was listed in paperwork as being from both himself and his wife, Patty Quillin.

The next day, Michael Dowling, CEO of Northwell Health, chipped in another $10,000 to the PAC, the filings show.

Fix the City, which recently landed in hot water with the city’s Campaign Finance Board due to alleged improper coordination with Cuomo’s campaign, has now raised more than $9.8 million, disclosures show
