Wendy Davis (R) announces re-election bid for Montgomery County Circuit Court Clerk

Montgomery County Circuit Court Clerk Wendy Davis has announced her campaign for re-election in the August 6th General Election, pledging to continue modernizing the clerk’s office while maintaining strong service to the courts and the public.

Davis began her career in the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office in 1996 and served for 18 years as Chief Deputy Clerk before being elected to the position in 2020. Her experience working in every division of the office has helped guide the department through significant growth as Montgomery County continues to expand.

During her time as Circuit Court Clerk, Davis has focused on improving access to court information and strengthening the efficiency of the office.

Under her leadership, the clerk’s office has expanded online resources for the public, making documents and court forms available online along with General Sessions civil court dates and dockets. The office also implemented electronic filing for Circuit Court civil cases and is currently working toward e-filing capabilities for General Sessions Civil cases.
