56% of Washington voters want Donald Trump impeached again -- and a record number disapprove of his job performance
A majority of Washington voters want the House of Representatives to impeach Donald Trump for a third time, while a record percentage of 63% disapprove of Trump’s job performance, the Northwest Progressive Institute’s latest statewide survey has found.
56% of 737 Washington voters interviewed June 24th-27th, 2025 by Civiqs for the Northwest Progressive Institute said they supported impeaching Trump. 52% were strongly supportive and 4% were somewhat supportive. 41% voiced opposition, with 3% somewhat opposed and 38% strongly opposed. Only 3% were not sure.
Trump was impeached twice in his first term: once in 2019 and again in 2021, just before he left office. He is the only president to have been impeached more than once. The Senate voted not to convict him each time, though if ten more Republicans had voted guilty during the second impeachment trial, Trump would have been convicted.
Since returning to power, Trump has violated his oath of office repeatedly, brazenly flouting the Constitution on a daily basis and going mostly unchecked.
