Bogan is an informal and insulting word for a person with low social class and education in Australian English.

and won't use the word should I visit lol. Unless someone proudly asserts that they're a Bogan.

FWIW, I love Aussie cinema and have been going on deep dives into Aussie culture. So much so that I subscribed to a podcast called 'Weird Crap from Australia'. Now I know everything there is to know about Yowies, Drop Bears and Bunyips, etc.
