Pro-Netanyahu Channel 14 Incites to Genocide in Gaza, Israeli Groups Claim in High Court Petition

The petition argues that Channel 14 has broadcast "near-nightly calls for murder, mass killing, and the destruction of Gaza's civilian population – and sometimes even for the annihilation of all Palestinians or Arabs." These statements, they say, form a clear and sustained pattern of "overt and unambiguous incitement."

According to the petitioners, Channel 14 has repeatedly portrayed Gaza residents as "animals" who must be "exterminated," a narrative they argue has taken hold among large segments of the public.

Other cited examples include: "The more humane solution is to starve them, okay? I think Israel's interest is famine and humanitarian disaster in Gaza" (Itamar Fleischmann); "Riklin, are they killing 100 terrorists a day? There are 2.5 million terrorists there!" (Eliyahu Yossian); and "There are no innocents. In 1948, they brought the Nakba on themselves. Now they'll have a second Nakba – for real this time. Finish Ben-Gurion's work" (Nave Dromi).

In a June 2024 broadcast, Yinon Magal reported that 42 civilians were killed in a targeted strike on a Hamas leader – prompting applause from the studio audience. Magal added: "This is the morality of our army … I'd be fine with 500 civilians killed. Yes, those are my values."

Something tells me it will not come from any Gazan civil society organizations.

Comparing a democratic Israeli tv station to a Hamas tv station seems a bit harsh there buddy. You think the Israeli one is that bad?

No, what you think I am doing is not what I am doing. I am not comparing TV stations as you are. It is obvious to a child that there is no comparison there, so your choice of the strawman you immediately fell back on perplexes me.

What I am doing is contrasting Israeli society to that of Gaza. The OP clearly demonstrates, however inadvertently, how exceptional the nation of Israel is in Middle East.No other country, including Gaza would permit anything resembling the subject petition. The OP was likely meant to reflect negatively on Israel, but it backfired, and you must have missed the sarcasm of mentioning civil society organizations in Gaza petitioning the government against a pro-government media outlet.

I don't know why you keep looking for stuff in my posts that is not there, but it's getting tiresome. Not to mention a complete waste of time.
