Does anyone here have shortness of breath after

getting over covid? Some days, I cannot even sit at my computer without panting.

Has anyone had this condition and had it treated? Has it passed after a while for anyone? I will be seeing my pulmonologist, but not until mid-September. I will follow his advice, but I am just looking for similar experiences.

but only when exerting myself when mowing the lawn or something like that. I hope you feel better soon!

iPhone user and Apple Medicine app notified me that my respiration rate has been elevated a couple of months now.

4. I have exactly what you described.

Friend of mine was retired heart surgeon insisting I go to get checked.
Had every scan and picture and ultra this and the stress that.
They found nothing wrong.
It more or less just passed.

5. What I attributed to post Covid shortness of breath turned out to be

Atrial fib and high blood pressure. I NEVER had high blood pressure before Covid and I had a pretty mild case. I went from 110/60 to 180/120 in a week post Covid. It never went back to normal.
Keep a chart of when it happens if infrequent. Also keep a record of your blood pressure if you aren’t already.

6. Steady improvement

Days 4 and 5 were supposed to be the worst, but it kind of kept coming back for 2 more cycles, settled in sinuses and light respiratory. There was a lot of sweating, especially when taking Ibuprofen. Then that passed, and a little antibiotics for the sinuses. I had it about 18 days and now I can do pretty much anything. No breathing problems, but still a bit light on stamina. Protein, protein, protein helped. Beef not chicken.

7. Do you have a pulse oximeter?

They aren't perfect, but they are pretty affordable and can tell you if your oxygen rate is in the danger zone.

It cost about $35 (they may have gone up). It gave me a lot of peace of mind in the early days of COVID.

9. Yes- remarkable SOB

I didn’t link it to Covid right away because it was several months after my Covid positive test. But I believe that it was from Covid- all tests(and I had a lot of them) have been mostly normal. It is resolving now though; scary 6 months .
