Idaho?...How 'bout Michigan spuds?

Getting down to the last of last year’s potato crop…lookit these close to the end potatoes…shows where they were grown.



Little abstract but you get the idea…meanwhile the hot peppers are going gangbusters…
We have Big Thai, Jalapeño, Habanero. Couple of each. Also the Sweet Potatoes are hanging in.



The greenhouse is waiting for occupancy. It’s just been too cold at night to set out yet. This cold snap is setting us about 2 weeks behind.

Patience may be a gardener’s best friend but it sure is irritating, especially after a beautiful mid April warmup.

1. Yep, the ol' waiting game until the weather firms up warmer consistently. We got four different kinds of tomatoes

I'm experimenting w/ (just the four), wanted to not go all out on a garden, but still raise some tomatoes (if the critters leave them alone).

I came in from my indoor garden…I was cleaning grow bags from last years duties…the outside was covered in algae.
Started typing the title and glimpsed at my fingers…two of them were covered in algae deposits…green fingers!
