On this day, July 25, 1943, the Grand Council of Fascism voted a motion of no confidence against Benito Mussolini.

I didn't know that. I thought he was in charge right up until he and ~~the lovely Mrs. Mussolini~~ his mistress were hanged in 1945.

hanging in the market, he never mentioned his wife hanging there, history not so long ago
