What I hate to do

1. A tie between brushing my teeth and folding/putting away laundry.

2. Making up the bed.

I brush my teeth once a day, before I go to bed. I have a Sonicare toothbrush and over the years I've figured out the parts that bother me most when I go to the dentist and get my teeth cleaned (the back of my lower front teeth, gumline up and down, both sides, and this wisdom tooth I have that's hard to get to. I Sonicare the hell out of my lower back teeth, brush my gums more than my teeth, and make sure I hit that wisdom tooth.

If it weren't for the praise I get from the dental hygienist I wouldn't bother. And I don't ever floss--I lie to them and they believe me because I do such a good job brushing my gums.

Isn't this childish, doing something that's good for me only because some young woman I see twice a year tells me my "home care" is excellent?

Maybe I could hire somebody to come in every morning and tell me what a good job I did making up the bed.

I wouldn't bother making it except that my husband rolls himself up in all the covers when he sleeps, so I need to make sure I at least start out with enough covers to keep me warm.

We just celebrated our 56th wedding anniversary. We said "Happy Anniversary" to each other. That's about all the excitement we can take.

My Wife has tolerated me for 38 years.

She says I married up.

She says all men marry up.

But there is no doubt I married up. My wife spoils me rotten for no apparent reason.

I tell the Dental Hygienist that I floss (which I do, kinda) and after looking at my teeth she says, you floss? Jokes on them. I too am a dog having a bad dream relative to messing up the sheets every night. But like your husband I have an Angel for a wife.

We hit 51 years this year.

Move everyday and when you think you’ve moved enough move some more. If you insist on watching TV get up and walk during every commercial. That was almost ten years ago. I’ve taken his advice.

SHEESH! Where’d the time go???

I’m expecting a non-event then, too. with both of us wishing well to the other, and then maybe slouching to the kitchen to make coffee.

A REALLY Boffo event!!!

Congratulations, cyclonefence! You MADE IT! AND you lived to tell!
