Saw my first hummingbird early this morning. A little late in the month. A male Ruby throat he only flitted around

For a few seconds. I will try and get a shot next time I see him. I got flowers ready. glad to see him, now that he’s found me maybe there will be more soon.

I've been after him for a few days to get our feeder out.

I haven't seen a hummingbird yet, but last year they came and hovered in front of our dining room windows watching me work. It was like they were saying "Excuse me, but where's our feeder?"

BTW, your flowers are beautiful! I'll keep an eye out for any pictures you post!

The one that put up the food. I believe, it’s probably wrong, but I believe he recognizes me sometimes. I think the ones that hatch here and go south as juveniles maybe show up back here where they nested. That’s just all in my mind probably but I was so happy to see he finally showed up
