will be because the US is Israel's major security partner, largest military aid provider, and top diplomatic defender. This includes supplying massive quantities of arms, providing roughly a billion in annual military aid, using vetoes at the UN to protect Israel, and deploying regional forces to prevent wider conflict.

The only mention I have heard about the Sudan (other than the fact it seems to have been in conflict for decades) is a mention that our Supreme leader wanted to deport some immigrants there - which seems insane to me.

But on a macro scale, the situation in Sudan doesn't pique the interest of anti-Israel "critics", demonstrating their care isn't about innocents, but rather about Israel. Their concern is about as real as the current misadminstration's "concern" for anti-Semitism; that is to say it is not real and nothing but a smokescreen for something else altogether.

In the past 2 months close to 40,000 Iranian protesters and dissidents have been killed, just this week opposition leadership have been rounded up and taken to detention facilities where they are likely going to be tortured. The US is now sending the largest air craft carrier group in the world to the gulf region to support the one that's already there.

There have been a couple OPs posted here about the situation in Iran, but for the most part it hasn't elicited a lot of conversation.

At the end of the day DU tends to reflect the interests of the msm, which has an obsessive focus on Israel because it results in better engagement for the media owners. Antisemitism is lucrative.
