(1,472 posts)My best friend, the older sibling and brother I didn't have. He passed way too soon in 1995. I will always love you, Bruce.
Just listen, cry a little or a lot, and recall all of the good memories. I'm laughing and crying along with you.

(680 posts)The songs and music that lives alongside us as we journey through this life. We each have one, and each one is different. I was born in the late sixties and I still live my days with music. I prefer the songs from my childhood. Luckily I had a Stepdad that had a great album collection and had speakers all through the houses we lived in. I can listen to almost anything and some days I tend to be a slave to the crave. Meaning some days it's R&B, some days it's rocking and some days it's classical. When I clean the house, I play Pink Floyd - Animals. It makes me get in the zone. I don't think I could live in a world without music.

(12 posts)Is terrific. Its a fine thing to share and remember with. Maybe a little melancholy, but a very nice thing overall to keep us connected.

(67 posts)This was the first album I ever bought - as a teen with my babysitting money. It transports me back in time too.
I know you miss her so much and am so truly sorry for your loss. Your enduring love for her comes through so brightly whenever you post about her.
[Ain't it good to know ...] You have many friends here, who care about you and support you on this uneven journey to healing & peace.
