It's one of those films that I almost have to see again. There are all these moments that are now culturally iconistic, like him looking in the mirror and practicing his growl, "You lookin' at me?"
Murder as performance.

It seemed to anticipate the times we're in, with the crazy shooters and all of that. I think the film was pretty controversial at the time.

It was sorta boring to me. Honestly, the majority of award winners I never find as enthralling as the award givers seem to. Such is life.
