Trump’s remarks about Americans needing to purchase less dolls to fix an economic crisis he manufactured is “condescending,” says fmr. California Rep. Katie Porter, a single mom of three. The dismissive rhetoric is aimed at prepping Americans for austerity, a drastic measure typically reserved for real national emergencies. But in this case, Trump created the problem to justify tax breaks for the wealthy.

6. Speaking of Barbie dolls, I did have one, but we lived at the north end of Lake George (NY) at the time

And since she came wearing a bathing suit, I had her dive in the lake (I was 7) and one time she came up without a head which we never did find. So my resourceful mother actually found a new head for her - just the head which came with three wigs! They were blond, brunette and auburn - I preferred the red one.
